Queen Anne - Second Story
A second story was added to this 1920’s home to accommodate a growing family while at the same time returning some of its original charm that had been covered over by an earlier remodel. The added 900 square foot second story mirrored the first story and included two bedrooms, a master bedroom/bathroom and a bath. The trusses on the 2nd story were left exposed which added a unique drama and a feeling of openness to the upstairs. Some new trims were added and all the trim painted white to lighten the house up and add a craftsman charm. On the exterior, the old siding was removed or sided over to bring back the original look and let the house fit in better with the neighborhood.
